Detective Comics #23 // Jason Fabok
I don’t have to start work til late so it’s comics and breakfast in bed after a sleep in this morning :)
And oofffffff course the day i finally rearrange my shelves my Play Arts Dark Knight Rises figure comes in.
Not doing uni homework and organising my shelves instead.
For the anon that wanted to see, this is the greater majority of figurine/collectibles type stuff that i have. I’ve got bits and bobs all over my rooms but this is everything big and box-y.
Im also still waiting for my Play Arts Dark Knight Rises figure to come in and have a few of the POP Vinyls that I’ve stashed away and need to buy.. :p
DEATH BATTLE: BATMAN VS. SPIDERMAN

HA! That was awesome!!
Although it’s a sad face because Batman loses, I think their argument is pretty logical and valid. The spidey sense does give Peter a bigger advantage over Bruce’s ability for stealth.
However, I’ve read two conflicting ideas about the effects of smoke on the spidey senses. No doubt Batman is fully stocked with smoke pellets/tear gas, but I’ve read it’s only Ethyl Chloride that really has an effect on Spiderman SO there’s the possibility where Batman uses normal gas/smoke (I know there was a moment in this video where he does, but more to a hindering-your-enemy effect than a hide-me-I’m-sneaky effect) and it does nothing, or it hinders Spidey. BUT if Batman has this specific Ethyl Chloride it may take that game changing sense away from Spidey.
((Please don’t quote me on this, I’m just going from what I know and I know very little about Spiderman)).
I do have one qualm with the video though. The KO involves Batman stuck under webbing, it showed in the video the strength and durability of the webbing itself, but there have been hundreds if not thousands of times where Batman has managed to escape hostage like situations while being tied up using something from his utility belt/razors/lasers/Batarangs. I find it hard to believe that Spidey basically tied Batman up in webbing and Batman was stuck.
Please feel free to share your comments/discuss your views!! As stated, I really don’t know a huge amount about Spiderman and am always up for a discussion and open to new ideas! :)

What did you get?

DC Comics’ essential graphic novel backlist and chronology, available late May 2013.
“A detailed listing of the publisher’s 25 most acclaimed graphic novels (“The Essential 25”), including Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons and Batman Year One by Frank Miller and David Maazacchelli; the trade paperbacks collecting the recent New 52 relaunch; graphic novels from DC’s Vertigo imprint; and book series based on major characters such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.”
I think this is a great idea! (though I would’ve preferred it to be out before FCBD…)
