DC Comics’ essential graphic novel backlist and chronology, available late May 2013. “A detailed listing of the publisher’s 25 most acclaimed graphic novels (“The Essential 25”), including Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons and Batman Year One by Frank Miller and David Maazacchelli; the trade paperbacks collecting the recent New 52 relaunch; graphic novels from DC’s Vertigo imprint; and book series based on major characters such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.” I think this is a great idea! (though I would’ve preferred it to be out before FCBD…)

I’m hoping to have a similar design available through Topatoco sometime in the near future, but I’m having these done by a local company (managed by a former employee of my comic shop, which is kind of perfect) so they’ll be real on time for May!

Hey, do you order your comics online? Or go to a comic shop? I really want to get the Batman comics and any Nightwing comics.

I get my comics from Kings Comics in Sydney :)
Amazing service and variety, however i only go in every blue moon and spend about $200 each time (last time i went was free comic book day). I just make sure to space out the comics i do get.

I also have a standing order with Kings - they collect the paperbacks of the titles i allocate and charge my account each fortnight, then mail each month, so i don’t have to worry about missing issues.
Although this is awesome, Im thinking about stopping it because i prefer the published books over having several issues now. It was a great starting point to get into comics but i think Im getting the hang of it now :)

I’m reposting this as per Tumblr Guidelines.

I’m giving away Issues 1-8 of Wonder Woman from the New 52.

Only the first three issues have been read, the story was interesting but not to my taste so rather than letting them collect dust and go to waste, I thought I’d offer them to someone who’d actually appreciate them.

I also received double copies of ‘The New 52’ (previews of the new DC comics) & ‘The Avengers - Age of Ultron’ on Free Comic Book Day, which I can pop in as well if you missed them :)

In order to show your interest:

- Make sure to like or reblog the post!-

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE FOLLOWING ME - This is not an effort to gain more followers, though please stick around if you see something you like :)

- According to Tumblr Guidelines, you must live within my country (Australia) and be over 18 years old -
