When I went into work this weekend, I was shocked (and excited!) to see that we have a new option in our pre-ordering screen…

The PS4 has been rumoured since… well, for years and years! But if anyone has noticed, there was a major price drop in the PS3 earlier this month, by about a hundred bucks!
This is different to the 3DS’s price drop (apparently due to a lack of sales, resulting in a 50% salary cut from Nintendo President Satoru Iwata)

Rumours have it that the PS3 price drop is due to the impending release of the PS4, and though it is rumoured to be as early as late next year, many sources don’t believe it will be happening any time soon.
